CSI:Miami Steals Emily Procter According to our good friends at Yahoo news, the Miami-based CSI spinoff, cleverly named CSI:Miami, will star an ensemble case including Emily Procter. (And no I don't know what up with the hat she is wearing in the IMDB pic.) Procter plays my favorite smart female character, Ainsley Hayes, on the West Wing. I hope they don't kill her off, as the West Wing has had a tendency to do lately. (Poor Mark Harmon.) No mention of whether she will return for any West Wing episodes or just disappear into the abyss. At any rate, CSI is one of my guilty pleasure shows, and I hope the spinoff is just as entertaining. Oh yeah, David Caruso will also be on the show, but no one cares.
