The Lion King is coming to DVD!!! (Finally!) On October 7th, and, of course, for a limited time only, Disney is releasing The Lion King on DVD. For those of us who can no longer bear to watch anything on VHS, (What do you mean I can't just skip to Hakuna Matata? Bah!) this has been way too long in coming. Apparently they have added a new song and some music, which I am skeptical about. The extra footage included in Beauty and the Beast was perfectly nice but didn't add anything to the film. Now if they will only release the Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark trilogies I can be truly happy. Are you listening George Lucas and Steven Spielberg?!?!
