61% of people are really, really cheap
According to a Billlboard.com poll, 61% of people felt that 99 cents was too much to pay for a single song download. Give me a break, people! It's a buck! Personally, I would have been willing to pay a buck for a quality song back in 1999, instead of enduring the hit or miss of poor quality, incorrectly named Napster downloads.
