A Million Things That Bug Me

Jerry Orbach has lost his battle with cancer, at the age of 69. Orbach was best known as Law & Order's Detective Lennie Briscoe, but I will always remember him as being on the receiving end of "Nobody puts Baby in a corner!" in Dirty Dancing, not to mention his wonderful vocal performance as Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast. He will be sorely missed.

I've always has mixed feelings about the people at NORAD spending time tracking Santa , instead of, say, preventing worldwide nuclear destruction. That being said, this year's site is particularly cool, though, with a "live" Santa webcam, in addition to the videos of Santa's travels around the world.

According to the results a FindLaw survey, 65% of Americans cannot name a single Supreme Court justice. Put this together with the 44% of Americans who think it's OK to violate the civil rights of Muslims, and 100% of people in this country are idiots. (I'm going to assume that a lot of those two groups overlap, so perhaps there are a few dozen people in this country worth saving.)
