Enya sings in a tongue from a 'distant planet'
According to the
Times Online. Enya's latest album,
Amarantine
, contains tracks in Loxian, "a futuristic language from a distant planet". The language was created by Enya's lyricist Roma Ryan. While part of me thinks this is completely bizarre, I have enjoyed the songs she has sung in Gaelic, Latin and Elvish, as well as many Tolkein books containing lots of latter, so why not? (iTunes went all wonky on me last night when I tried to download it, so I can't review it first hand yet.)
