How to Save Gas (Or Not)
Edmunds.com has tested the
six most common suggestions for saving gas, dispelling some myths along the way. The good news is that you can feel good about using the air conditioning. The bad news is that their top two tips are "Drive the speed limit." and "Stop driving like a maniac." I'm screwed.

over-inflating your tires. Under-inflating your tires may decrease your gas mileage, but over-inflating them could cause the tire to be damaged, which would be costly, too, particularly if, say, you were to destroy a tire, and then crash
