  Heroes on the Half-Shell!
It is with great gen-x glee that I post about the
teaser trailer for the next Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie recently released on Apple.com. Like most teasers, it does little more than, well, tease, but the animation looks beautiful, and I am hopeful that the film will capture some of what I loved about the original comics.

Sadly, Mako, who had been cast as the voice of Splinter, just passed away.

Comments:
I liked the cheesiness of the first one. And by the way, what ever happened to _original_ movies? Why is everything a remake?

Here's a movie idea: A plucky philosophy professor is catapulted to fame when his Wilkipedia entry posted by his best friend (and elaborated on by his best students) gives his work national attention. He is called upon to help solve the middle east crisis which he does as a result of his straight-shooting honesty and his open-mindedness to other cultures. Through a complex series of mishaps and adventures, he is granted a cameo appearance on both the new Battlestar Glactica and the Simpsons (which also features his adorable Border Collie mutt fighting Homer over a bone hand-filled with peanut butter) and then ends up being a guest judge on Project Runway. Now, was that so difficult to come up with?!?!?!?!?! Remakes. Bah!

Hey you! Damn kids! Get off my lawn!

hey! i saw a coming attraction for that episode of the Simpsons!

not for nothing, but i made the very first TAMNT costume ever seen in the US for my nephew andrew... i'd never even heard of them until he said that's what he wanted to be for Halloween! and i have the pictures to prove it! thank goodness for thrift shops and poster board!
