CapersCapers the otter has the honor of starring in what is officially my favorite video on YouTube, complete with adorable baby otter squeaking. This is the video I am going to use for the rest of of my life to remind myself that the world doesn't always suck. Also, the people in this video have the best jobs in the universe.
50 States - Or How to Feel Like a Complete Idiot50 States is a nifty little Shockwave game in which you have to drag and drop all fifty states onto their appropriate spots on a US map. I managed a pathetic score of 72.54, with an average error of 36 miles, in 354 seconds. To be fair, though, the first state it gave me was South Dakota. Do you know how hard it is to drop South Dakota in the precisely correct location on a map with nothing but topopgraphical features on it? I'm going to try again right now to try to regain my dignity...

Thoughts about Live Earth
Nice job, NBC, playing a commercial over Melissa Etheridge's performance of "I Need to Wake Up," which is basically the theme song of the freaking concert. (I'm only half-way through Universal HD's 22 hours of HD coverage, so maybe they won't blow it.)
Madonna's performance of "Hung Up" was one of the hottest things I have ever seen.
The inflatable pig flying over the audience during Roger Waters' performance of "Another Brick in the Wall" looked very angry. Is he angry about climate change, or still bitter that Pink Floyd broke up?
The Antarctica researchers singing to a couple of penguins (OK, so there were really other researchers) was very cool. Luckily they had a band, or the concert would only have covered six continents.
Phil Collins is now an exact twin of John Locke from Lost. Creepy.
Bob Geldof has stated that the concert was a "waste of time." Apparently only "Sir Bob" gets to decide which causes are deserving of such efforts. Get over yourself.
I would have preferred just the Police, instead of the Police and Kanye West. (Was that rhythm guitarist even born when the Police broke up?)
