Seagull Loves Chips
I visit
Snopes.com almost daily to debunk "helpful" warnings of all sorts of dire things sent to me by friends, but
this true story about a Dorito-loving sea bird is why I love the Intenet. Complete with video, of course.
Run for your lives!
In case the velociraptors in Jurassic Park didn't scare the bejesus out of you,
scientists have found conclusive evidence that the velociraptor had feathers: "It's sort of as if you scaled up a chicken and then gave it really nasty teeth and big claws on its feet," said one of the researchers at the
Museum of Natural History. They do say that it appears that they were smaller than they were portrayed in the film, but to me that only means they were faster.

Nutrition: 30 Code Words For Sugar
I thought I knew all its sneaky pseudonyms for sugar found on ingredient lists, but
this list from Consumerist had a few surprises. What the hell are sorghum and treacle? I'd look them up, but afraid it will be one of those things like
carmine dye, which I really wish I didn't know about.
Another Cherished Childhood Memory to be Destroyed
Not content with Garfield, Underdog and others too sad to mention, a live-action
Paddington Bear movie is in the works. Yippee.

Doesn't really roll off the tongue, does it? Sounds like they let George pick the title, which really doesn't bode well, unless that's all they are letting him do.
Update: Comments are starting to pour in on
Cinematical. Looks like I'm not the only one who's not happy.
