  Happy Darwin Day
Today is the anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin on February 12, 1809. Only 43% of Americans believe in evolution, and the president thinks intelligent design should be taught in schools, so please, celebrate Darwin Day.

While you are at it, sign the petition at Science Debate 2008 and call for the presidential candidates to debate on issues of science and technology. I think we have a pretty clear idea where all the remaining candidates stand on the war and the economy, but I would like to know where they stand on things like net neutrality, space exploration, climate change, and stem cell research, and frankly, I'd like to hear them talk about these things in a manner which illustrates that they understand them.
