  Save the Bronx Zoo!
The Bronx Zoo is one of my favorite places on Earth, but the Governor wants to take away all of the funding from the state of New York. We're going to stop funding an organization that saves endangered species, and lets poor families go to the Zoo for free? Really?

Go to the Wildlife Conservation Society site to help.

  Actors Who Get Fandom
Io9 has a great list of Actors Who Get Fandom. The list contains some of my favorites, like Nathan Fillion, and Simon Pegg, not to mention überblogger Wil Wheaton. It would appear from this list that geeks get their fans.
